Job description: Job Responsibilities:- Managing business development activities entailing mapping of new market segments. - Own and achieve annual sales targets within assigned territory and accountsDevelop a Sales plan / forecast, expense budget with corresponding initiatives to achieve the numbers / desired gross margins- Ensure the new channel of communication well capturing more brand awareness among new generation and new customers. Enhance the retailer relationship and maximize brands exposure.- Manage all elements of the Marketing Mix to maximize performance in market: product - proposition, packaging distribution (recommendations to sales team), price & promotions (with Strategic Insights Manager), product quality and format.- Use data from a variety of sources from market research, trends analysis, desk research, observation to build a holistic picture of the consumers life and in relation to the category; develop an understanding of the impact of customer and retailing developments on marketing and how these will affect the execution of product strategies in outlet.- Develop an understanding of trade customer strategies in order to understand how our products can build their agendas, as well as our own;- Keep abreast of competitor actions, ensuring internal visibility of implications for our products- Briefing creative agencies and agency management as well as brand asset management; Experienced in packaging design and management with a keen eye on packaging excellence.- Identify, analyses, pursue and report on business opportunities with existing and prospective clients Conduct market analyses, including category, product trends, pricing, program evaluations and best practices. Based on analysis provide findings and recommendations to improve future marketing programs. - Participation in trade shows as relating to the brands, including; developing promotions, analyzing sales, sales rep performance and spend. - Contributing ideas to increase overall sales and brand awareness.- Competitive benchmarking. - Developing brand focused promotions as needed with the sales and Marketing team. - Work closely with Product Designers, Sales Team and International Team to expand International Manage multiple projects, prioritize work and balance strategic and tactical issues.- Monitor both Primary and Secondary Sales- Achieve the business numbers and profitability as per the business plan / projections (ref:updazz.com)
