Job description: Biddano is seeking an ambitious and high-energy sales & marketing intern to support the company's sales & marketing team. You will work directly with the Sales and Marketing Manager and reach out to prospective clients, including outbound sales communications via email and phone calls. The intern hired for this position will help create, identify and track sales leads, generate sales reporting, evaluate success, trends, and failures of sales campaigns, assist with sales forecasting, strategies, and tactics thus gaining valuable sales experience. The intern should be well organized and be prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The intern chosen for this position will finish their internship at Biddano having gained broad experience in various aspects of sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong personal accountability for results, a strong commitment to teamwork in support of the company's success, adherence to ethical business practices, and comfort operating in a start-up environment with an ability to prioritize and drive actions to closure. Responsibilities/Qualiications/Essential job Functions Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales and Marketing Intern will have the following responsibilities: - Perform analysis of marketing and sales data - Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline - Prepare presentations - Open and sort mail - Enter contact information into contact management systems - Provide support to social media efforts - Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels - Maintain tracking report of public relations activity- Research and generate lists of potential customers - Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature - Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts - Assist in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities - Learn and apply sales techniques - Maintain sales records - Prepare presentations - Open and sort mail - Perform other job-related duties as required.
