Job description: About Trainman
Trainman is an online tool that gives information and intelligence pertaining to Indian Railways. Our product can be accessed via website and mobile app for Android, iPhone, and Windows platforms. It is a one-stop-shop for all information regarding Indian Railways. A user can check PNR status, seat availability, train schedule, etc. The USP of our product is confirmation chances of waiting list tickets. Trainman is the pioneer app in this segment and more than 90% of the predictions are correct. Trainman's Android app has more than 5 million downloads.
Any person who wants to travel by railways and has a device with internet-connectivity can use Trainman. It helps users in all the phases - trip planning, booking, and on-trip assistance. Nearly 2% of the Indian population is on trains on any given day! Owing to this enormous potential customer base, we have huge growth potential.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Worked on at least one native android app
2. Working on kotlin and Android Studio to design and develop Android app
3. Working with the team to manage, optimize and customize multiple applications
